Furby Custom PCB
A work-in-progress replacement front PCB and printed face support for Furby 2012/Boom builds. The idea is to replace the original eye/front assembly with a board that can drive controllable displays and connect into a custom printed face piece.
What It Is
The PCB is the current fab version of a replacement Furby front board. It is designed around an ESP32-S3 SuperMini and breaks out the signals needed for controllable eye displays, power, and the Furby home switch.

Board Notes
- Two-layer board, roughly 46.9 x 44.1 mm.
- 1.6 mm FR4 fab stack in the generated Gerber job.
- ESP32-S3 SuperMini footprint.
- Signals include TFT1_CS, TFT2_CS, TFT_MOSI, TFT_SCLK, TFT_DC, TFT_RST, HOME_SW, EXT_5V, and ESP_BATT_IN.
Status
The PCB is in fab, so this page is a project note rather than a finished build guide. The control code exists separately but is not included here yet. Once the board is back and tested, this can become a proper assembly and firmware guide.
