Luminous Echoes

Luminous Echoes was an interactive light and sound installation composed of 12 custom-built LED bars, each 120cm long and fitted with 70 addressable LEDs.
Mounted on wooden poles angled toward the audience, each bar also housed a speaker that played one of 64 words in sequence, creating a Doppler-like auditory effect as the sound appeared to move across the installation.

A control panel with five LED buttons allowed participants to trigger light and sound patterns, with audience-submitted words collected on the first day and woven into new sequences for the second night—fostering a dynamic, personalized experience.
Driven by an ESP32 and a Pico Pi, and powered by a robust setup of converters and supplies, Luminous Echoes delivered a rich, immersive blend of technology and human interaction.
